European Mine, Chemical and Energy Workers Federation (EMCEF)

EMCEF is a member of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and co-operates with other European Industry Federations in the ETUC. EMCEF also works in line with International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers’ Unions (ICEM). The EMCEF organises members in a wide range of industrial areas: Energy - Mines - Chemical - Pharmaceutical - Rubber - Plastics - Glass - Pulp and Paper Sectoral Committees deal with industrial, technical and legal matters relevant for these industries. EMCEF today organises 2.5 million workers in 35 countries and 128 national trade unions.
