The Association of Petrochemicals Producers in Europe (Appe)

The Association of Petrochemicals Producers in Europe – Appe – is the voice of the European petrochemical industry and brings together about 70 member companies. Its mission is to foster the development of the European petrochemical industry within a global context, by demonstrating its sustainability and its benefits to society. The European petrochemical industry is a key player in today's society as its applications are essential to most of our daily life products. It also contributes to the development of tomorrow's innovative products. Appe is part of Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council representing about 29,000 large, medium and small chemical companies which employ about 1.3 million people, and accounting for nearly a third of world chemical production. Appe is based in Brussels, Belgium.
