Tosoh Bioscience presents a new brochure featuring the use of TSK-GEL HILIC columns. HILIC is the method of choice for the separation of very polar and hydrophilic compounds. Typical HILIC applications are the analysis of glycans, carbohydrates, peptides, polar drugs and metabolites, vitamins and other hydrophilic compounds. Aside describing the various aspects of Hydrophilic Interaction Liquid Chromatography and how it works, the brochure presents features and applications of TSK-GEL HILIC columns.
For years TSKgel Amide-80 HPLC columns have been successfully used for the analysis of glycosilation patterns as Amide chemistry is ideally suited for the separation of carbohydrate structures. The well-known Amide-80 series was recently expanded by columns with small particle size (TSKgel Amide-80 3 µm) and by a modified Amide-80 5 µm column to achieve increased resolution for already validated and documented USP/JP/EPmethods.
TSKgel NH2-100 3 µm columns are the latest addition to the HILIC portfolio. They expand the selectivity range of TSK-GEL HILIC solutions by a new, robust amino-phase. Both, Amide as well as amino type HILIC phases are described in detail including representative examples of application data.
