Presentation with a view to the equipment for process development

The Enzymicals catalog offers selected biocatalysts and specialty chemicals for organic synthesis, suitable for for use in research and development as well as for industrial production.

All catalog enzymes are produced recombinantly and offered as protein raw extract in technical grade. Higher grades of purity, other formulations and quantities up to the multi-kg range are available on request. The enzyme toolbox contains carboxylesterases, amine transaminases, Baeyer-Villiger monooxygenases, halohydrin dehalogenases, imine reductases, aminoacylases, lipases, and phosphotransferases, most of them unique. Of particular importance are these enzymes, e.g. in the synthesis of enantiomerically pure substances, in regiospecific synthetic steps to avoid protecting groups or in the separation of racemic mixtures.

The focus of the specialty chemicals offered is on chiral synthesis building blocks. The offer includes i.a. chemo-enzymatically produced alcohols, carboxylic acids, esters, amines and amino alcohols. Usually the enantiomeric excess of the chiral compounds is > 99%.

The offer is complemented by a protein expression service and custom syntheses. The independent company provides state of the art solutions in the development, optimization and scaling up of robust chemo-enzymatic processes.
