Mare Austria, founded in the nineteen seventies as Niklacell, is located in Styria, in the green heart of Austria. The core products of Niklacell are different grades of Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). This environmentally friendly production process is ideally suited to this region.
Today Nicklacell is part of the Mare Group, headquartered in Milan, Italy. As result, new product lines were added, while the traditional production of CMC was intensified.
