Agip



 

Agip (Azienda Generale Italiana Petroli), established in 1926 is an Italian automotive gasoline and diesel retailer. It is a subsidiary of multinational petroleum company Eni. In 2006, retail volumes of refined products marketed on the Agip branded network amounted to 8.66 mmtonnes, with a market share of 29.3%.

Current events

On December 7, 2006, three workers at an Agip terminal in Nigeria were taken hostage by a group of unknown gunmen who exchanged fire at security inside the building. [2].
