Ceration

Ceration is a chemical process, a common practice in alchemy. It is one of the commonly accepted 12 vital alchemical processes.

Ceration is performed by continuously adding a liquid to the substance while it is heated (see Calcination). This typically results in making the substance softer while giving it a waxy appearance.
