Crystallographic group

A crystallographic group is a topologically discrete subgroup of the group of isometries of some space form (typically, not necessarily a Euclidean space) with a compact fundamental domain.

For a plane, see wallpaper group.

For 3D Euclidean space, see space group and crystallographic point group.

See also crystallography.
