JAAS replaced Annual Reports on Analytical Atomic Spectroscopy (1971-1984) in 1986; and has become a leading journal in the field of analytical chemistry and spectroscopy, with an impact factor of 3.64.
JAAS hosts another RSC publication, Chemical Science.
Methods and techniques covered
JAAS contains peer-reviewed full research papers, technical notes, urgent communications and selected review articles.
