In some cases, natural cleaning products may be less damaging to the environment and safer for humans and pets than conventional cleaning products. Sales of natural cleaning products increased 19 percent to more than $36 million between July 2002 and July 2003, according to SPINS, a San Francisco-based marketing research and consulting firm.
