Tecnoflon

Tecnoflon is the brand of fluoroelastomers (FKM) and perfluoroelastomers (FFKM) manufactured by Solvay Solexis (former Ausimont). The Tecnoflon line of fluoroelastomers includes copolymers (N-types), terpolymers (T-types), peroxide cured (P-types), low temperature (L- and PL-types), and base resistant (BR-types) FKM types.

Tecnoflon BR 9151 is a base resistant fluoroelastomer used in automotive and oilfield applications. It shows exceptional resistance to high temperature hydrogen sulfide which is a unique attribute among FKM types.

Solvay-Solexis also offers a water-based FKM-latex to be used instead of solvent-based formulations.

The Tecnoflon line of perfluoroelastomers (PFR-types) includes low compression set and high temperature resistant grades.
