Application Chemist (m/f)

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct demos for LSMS in demo labs
• Assessment and preparation of experiments before the demo with close contact to customer and sales
• Self responsible conduction of the demo
• Post demo report preparation and discussion with customer and sales
• Support of German and Swiss sales team
• Close contact to European demolabs and international factories
• Close cooperation with sales to optimize interaction with customers and prospects
• Representation of the company at scientific conferences and events (for example user forums)

Candidate Requirements:

• professional background in Electronics/Chemistry/Engineering or related subject
• minimum of 1-5 years experience in servicing analytical equipment or equivalent application specialist experience
• strong problem solving skills
• srong communication skills and proven ability to work across all levels, functions and regions
• demonstrated or organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities
• excellent inter-personal, self-motivational and negotiating skills
• good PC skills
• driving license
• good English, German and French language skills (oral & written)
• willingness to travel (mainly within the appointed region but frequently as well through Europe/European Territory)
• for training or special calls, international travelling including all EMEA territory and the US
