For our partner we are looking for a

Scientist Spectroscopy

Job Responsibilities:

- Optical spectroscopy (RAMAN, IR, NIR) as a routine in-line analytical tool for optimisation of organic syntheses in Process Research Chemistry and scale up
- NON-invasive quantification of actives in food and feed products
- Working in multi-disciplinary teams with organic and analytical chemists and nutritionists
- Establishing optical spectroscopy as competence unit within the Analytical Research Center

Candidate Requirements:

- PhD in analytical, organic or physical chemistry with at least 3 years working experience in applied optical spectroscopy, or a Master Degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in the industry
- Good command of English and German, French is optional
- Knowledge in applied separation technologies (GC, HPLC) with common detection devices (FID, UV, MS) and/or NMR (1D-, 2D-, 3D-NMR, or 1H, 13C, etc.) completes the analytical background
- Open-minded personality and ability to evolve in a multinational environment
- Strong communication skills and team player in matrix R&D organization
