07-14-2009: Sachtleben will raise its prices for BLANC FIXE products (precipitated BaSO4) effective August 1st, 2009 or as contracts permit by 8%.
The prices for barium hydroxide additives (mono- and octahydrate) will be increased also by 100 Euro per ton August 1, 2009.
According to the company, this price increase will be implemented due to ongoing cost increases and to secure long term supply ability towards its related markets in the paint&coatings, paper and plastics markets.
