11-05-2009: Linde Gases, a division of The Linde Group, announced its agreement with the PTT Group for the supply of high purity gases in what is believed to be the largest specialty gases contract in Thailand. In addition, Linde has signed a contract with Map Ta Phut Olefins Company (MOC), a subsidiary of Rayong Olefins Comany (ROC), for the supply of calibration gases to support ROC’s new integrated olefins and polyolefins production plant at Map Ta Phut in Thailand. PTT is the country’s largest petrochemical and refinery group and the supply of pure gases from Linde is for research and product development at its central laboratory, also at Map Ta Phut. The contract is the first consolidated gas procurement undertaken by the company. At MOC, Linde will be supplying calibration gases to be used for process control.
