Saltigo successfully defends its title as “Best Supplier”

LANXESS subsidiary wins “Agrow Award 2009”

11-17-2009: Saltigo GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of LANXESS, has been rated as “Best Supplier” by the “Agrow” trade journal for the second time in succession and won against a strong competition from India, China and Europe. A panel of judges comprising eleven internationally recognized experts from the industry chose the winners from worldwide applications. Explaining their selection of Saltigo, the judges highlighted the factors which turned the company into a premium supplier: In recent years Saltigo has further expanded its position as one of the leading custom manufacturer for the agrochemical industry. With its technological strength and speed the LANXESS subsidiary supports the agrochemical industry in achieving successful market development. Saltigo’s expertise ranges from route selection via pilot production to scale-up and commercial manufacturing. Strong analytical support at each stage ensures high quality standards.

The journal “Agrow” made its first awards for special achievements in the crop protection industry two years ago, dividing them up into various categories e.g. “Best Supplier” or “Most Innovative Chemistry”. This year 14 awards were presented. The eventual winner, Saltigo was the only European company to make it through to the final in the “Best Supplier” category.
