Evonik Industries’ Coatings & Additives announces price increases
12-22-2009: Evonik Industries’ Coatings & Additives Business Unit has announced it will raise prices for DEGALAN®, DEGACRYL®, DEGADUR®, DEGAROUTE®, DEGAPLAST®, DEGADECK®, DEGAMENT®, ROHAGIT® and PLEX® by up to 10 percent effective in all regions as of the 1. quarter 2010.
According to the company, even drastic cost cutting measures at the company have not been enough to offset the surge in prices for raw materials, energy and packaging.
