01-20-2010: Starting immediately, Krahn Chemie will be in charge of the European marketing of the magnesium oxides produced by US manufacturer Premier Chemicals. According to the company, these products are an excellent addition to Krahn’s current rubber product range, which includes the special elastomers CR, CSM, ECO, and CPE.
“This is exactly the factor that gives rise to synergistic effects, since all of these halogenated rubbers need magnesium oxide as an acid acceptor,” explains Helmut Waibel, Business Segment Manager for the rubber and adhesives segment. “Another advantage for our customers is the fact that Premier Chemicals is backward integrated, and is thus a reliable source with an excellent price-performance ratio, which is especially evident in the area of highly active (150m2/g) products such as Magox® Super Premium.”
