Manuli Strech to expand its factory in Value Park Schkopau
02-01-2010: Manuli Stretch Deutschland GmbH is expanding its factory in Dow Value Park at the Schkopau site and will invest a further € 21 million altogether in the period up to 2012. The number of employees will increase in this period by 31 to 175 with the number of apprentices increasing from 10 to 16. With this investment, which will be used for two new plants as well as a new production hall (4000 m²) as a matter of priority, Manuli Stretch will increase its production capacity by almost 40,000 t/year, up to 140,000 t/year. In so doing, Manuli intends to strengthen its leading position on the European market and continue to increase its share of the market from its current 18 percent.
