Air Products Appoints John Marsland Senior Vice President, Supply Chain, and Member of Corporate Executive Committee
03-08-2010: Air Products has named John W. Marsland senior vice president, Supply Chain, and member of the company’s Corporate Executive Committee, effective immediately. He has overall responsibility for Air Products’ Global Engineering, Global Operations, Energy and Materials, and Continuous Improvement organizations.
Marsland joined Air Products in 2002 as director–Business Development and subsequently was named vice president, Corporate Development Office. In 2005 Marsland was appointed vice president and general manager, Global Healthcare, and in 2006 he assumed overall responsibility for the global healthcare business. Most recently, he was vice president and general manager of Global Liquid Bulk, Generated Gases and Helium. Prior to joining Air Products, Marsland was employed by The Stanley Works and GE, where he held positions in financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, corporate audit, treasury and global supply chain.
Marsland graduated from Babson College in 1988 with a B.S. degree in finance and investments.
