06-08-2010: Brenntag France provides business to business (B2B) distribution solutions for industrial and specialty chemicals into different industries such as Personal Care, Coatings, Polymers and Detergency. With today's official inauguration the new storage and distribution center allows Brenntag France to strengthen its leading position to an ever increasing customer base. The facility has a total surface of 15,000 m² well as a storage capacity of 9,000 tons and it completely meets the latest environmental guidelines and security standards.
During the ribbon cutting ceremony Harry van Baarlen, Chief Operating Officer Brenntag Europe said: "This facility enables us to realize significant improvements in logistics and services for our customers not only in France but also in the rest of Europe. With efficient processes and flexibility we can handle a broad range of specialty chemicals which is one of our strategic activities and which has experienced a sustained growth over the last years."
Yves Merolle, Managing Director Brenntag France: "Due to an increasingly demand and interest from our customers the construction of a new site became necessary. We now have an organization and staff of 80 highly experienced people for Specialties. It is the objective is to supply our customers with product ranges which meet their needs and enable them to create, produce and innovate in new and competitive markets."
Over the last 3 years, Brenntag France has continually invested in all French regions in order to improve, secure and extend its storage capacities of industrial chemical products with the goal to fulfil its requirement: "supply its customers with the good product, at the right time, at the right place, in all security".
