07-01-2010: Dow Wolff Cellulosics, a global division of the Dow Chemical Company, announces a price increase of 3-7 percent for its product portfolio in pharmaceutical, food & nutrition, and industrial applications, effective July 1st, 2010, or as contract terms allow. This price increase is driven by rising costs of raw materials, including pulp, and tightening supply conditions, and is necessary to secure a sustainable supply base and source of differentiation.
