A. Schulman Appoints Francisco Castillo as Managing Director for Its Mexico Operations

07-05-2010: A. Schulman, Inc. announced that it has named Francisco Castillo as Managing Director of Mexico, effective July 1, 2010. He will report to Gustavo Perez, Business Unit Leader of Masterbatch for the Americas.

Most recently, for almost 10 years, Castillo was President and Chief Executive Officer of ThyssenKrupp Mexinox, S.A., a stainless steel cold rolling operation based in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and business unit of Germany-based ThyssenKrupp AG Group. Prior to that, he held a variety of positions with responsibilities in areas such as finance, production and purchasing since joining ThyssenKrupp Mexinox in 1988.

"Our operations in Mexico will play an important role for A. Schulman as we continue to expand our capabilities to serve the growing market demand," Perez said. "We are excited that Francisco will be contributing his substantial industry expertise and strategic vision to our team."
