Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services Group: New surface protection unit extending range of services in the Benelux countries

07-14-2010: Following the acquisition of a majority interest in Brabant Mobiel B.V. with registered offices in Oosterhout (near Rotterdam) in the Netherlands, the Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services Group (BIS Group) is strengthening its position in the Benelux market by adding a potent new unit specialising in premium-quality industrial surface protection. The new company is contributing 130 employees and annual revenues of over EUR 22 million to the BIS Group. It is being integrated as an independent unit within BIS Industrial Services Nederland B.V.

“We have been working closely with Brabant Mobiel for more than ten years in surface protection activities for SIP (scaffolding, insulation, painting) contracts”, explains Bert van der Burght, the general manager of the BIS Group in the Netherlands and Belgium: “The acquisition of this company will now allow us to broaden our range of services in Benelux in a crucial area, ensuring that we are well positioned to accommodate our customers’ rising demand for SIP contracts.”
