07-15-2010: Ashland Aqualon Functional Ingredients, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc., is increasing the price of its foam control product lines serving the global coatings, inks, industrial, emulsion polymerization and adhesives industries by up to 10 percent effective July 28, or as contracts allow. The product lines affected by the increase include Drewplus™ and Advantage™ foam control agents.

The global price adjustment is necessary to offset the recent cost increases of key raw materials and costs to comply with increasing regulatory requirements. Responding to changing market conditions allows Ashland to continue to invest in new capacity and product innovation to support our customers’ growth.
