Buckley Named General Manager of Dow Performance Materials and Elected President and CEO of ANGUS Chemical Company

John Buckley has been named global general manager of Performance Materials, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company (Dow) and has been elected president and CEO of ANGUS Chemical Company (ANGUS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dow.

Buckley has worked for the company for 25 years, joining Dow through the acquisition of Rohm and Haas in 2009. Most recently, he served as president of AgroFresh Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Dow.

Buckley began his career at Rohm and Haas in 1983 as a process and design engineer. He was subsequently promoted to operations and commercial roles in other divisions, including managing operations in Latin America and leading sales and marketing positions in both Brazil and at the company headquarters in Philadelphia. After a short period as global business manager for Graver Technologies, an international business based in Newark, Delaware, Buckley rejoined Rohm and Haas in1998 to take positions in business management and global marketing.

Buckley earned a bachelor of science in chemical engineering with honors from Villanova University.
