Huntsman creates new Warsaw service center
20-04-2012: Huntsman Corporation is opening a new service center in Warsaw, Poland, strengthening the capabilities of its Polyurethanes and Performance Products businesses across Central and Eastern Europe, and the Baltics – territories where MDI demand is growing steadily.
Located in the commercial district of Warsaw – close to the airport and Huntsman’s major local customers – the service center includes a sales office, an analytical laboratory, and a meeting facility. A warehouse will also open on site in due course.
Poland has a fast growing economy, making it an extremely attractive place to do business and the logical location for a commercial gateway into Eastern Europe. In the polyurethanes industry, local demand for MDI is increasing at a rate of more than 10% per annum.
Nick Webster, Vice President Europe of Huntsman Polyurethanes, said: ‘With a new service center open for business we will be in a prime position to respond to customer requests quickly and efficiently – increasing our foothold and enabling us to pursue the significant diversified growth opportunities that exist locally.”
