17-07-2012: hte – the high throughput experimentation company and Elevance Renewable Sciences, Inc. announce a research collaboration for the development of bio-based specialty lubricants. In this collaboration hte used its in-house developed multifold high throughput autoclave testing unit and leveraged the expertise of its experienced project team.
The use of high throughput experimentation allows the research project to be performed faster than with the conventional approach and uses its statistical Design of Experiments (DoE) to assess performance across the process parameters.
“Our collaboration with hte allows Elevance to accelerate development of specialty products with initial emphasis on applications in polymers and lubricant base oils,” said Mel Luetkens, COO of Elevance.
