analytica Vietnam focuses on food safety
With more than 3,600 visitors and 127 exhibitors, analytica Vietnam already confirmed its role as the leading trade fair for the Vietnamese laboratory technology, analysis, biotechnology and diagnostics industry the second time that it was held. According to Harald Müller, Managing Director of IMAG (International Fair and Exhibition Service): "Demand for laboratory and analysis equipment has remained strong over the past few years. Above all, we attribute this development to growing interest among visitors." The primary driving force comes from the food industry. After all, Vietnamese manufacturers who export products around the world are subject to strict global guidelines that, among other things, call for precise controls and high-quality laboratory and analysis equipment. There is also demand in the pharmaceuticals industry and in environmental analysis. Both Vietnamese manufacturers and a number of international companies will have the latest equipment on display. The fair will also feature joint national exhibits from China, Germany, France, Great Britain and Japan.
analytica Vietnam related-events program
The proven combination of a scientific conference and a practice-oriented program of related events is being continued in 2013. Among other things, a seminar on DIN certification for exports is planned. International and Vietnamese speakers will present their latest studies and present research and development trends in the analysis, laboratory technology and biotechnology sectors at the analytica Vietnam Conference. The Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) and, as of this year, Ho Chi Minh City University are conference partners.
analytica Vietnam 2013 is organized by Messe München International (MMI) and its subsidiary IMAG (International Fair and Exhibition Service) as well as the National Agency for Science and Technology Information (NASATI).
