LANXESS increases prices for Durethan base resin, film and extrusion grades

04-Jul-2014 - Germany

Specialty chemicals group Lanxess will increase prices effective July 1, 2014 for Durethan base resin, film and extrusion grades in Europe, Middle East and Africa by 0.12 Euro/kg. The increase is reasoned by ongoing continuous high level of raw material costs. Existing agreements will be honored.

The affected Durethan portfolio are polyamide 6 and CoPA based engineering plastics used for the production of films for food packaging, industrial films, semi-finished products, other extrusion applications and as a raw material for compounds.
