06-07-2005: The Board of Directors of Elemica announced the appointment of Mike McGuigan as the company's new chief executive officer and president. McGuigan was previously Vice President of Digital & Communications Technology for the chemicals business at energy giant BP, as well as Chairman of Elemica's Board.
McGuigan will build on the solid foundation established by his predecessor, Kent A. Dolby, who announced his retirement effective 1st June 2005. Dolby joined Elemica as their first CEO in December 2000 and successfully led the company through its start-up and development phases.
