02-28-2007: ChemDiv, Inc. and Kaken Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Tokyo, Japan have announced that they entered into a joint Drug Discovery collaboration involving undisclosed therapeutic targets.
ChemDiv is to produce lead candidates employing its Discovery Outsource TM platform, including proprietary rational design, extensive medicinal chemistry and pre-clinical biology capabilities. The designed chemical libraries will be screened at ChemDiv on Kaken's drug targets with subsequent lead optimization effort.
