04-09-2008: Merquinsa North America announced a price increase of USD 0.17 per pound for all TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethane) product lines for the NAFTA region.
According to the company, despite Merquinsa's continuous productivity efforts, the price increase is required to help offset the continued rising costs of hydrocarbons and raw materials used to manufacture products. The increase will be effective May 1, 2008 or as contracts allow.
