Dr. Hans-Joachim Konz new member of the SCHOTT Board of Management
06-25-2008: As of July 1, 2008, Dr. Hans-Joachim Konz (48) has been appointed to the Board of Management of SCHOTT AG.
Konz has served as Chief Representative of SCHOTT AG and a member of the SCHOTT Corporate Management Committee since 2003. Dr. Hans-Joachim Konz joined SCHOTT in 1995 and was initially responsible for the area of television glass before he took over responsibility for the Home Tech business area in 2001.
The mechanical engineer with a PhD will be the board member responsible for the Home Tech and Flat Glass businesses, as well as the Group functions Research & Technology Development, Melting Technology and Machine and Manufacturing Technology.
Dr. Hans-Joachim Konz is married and the father of two children.
