From now on the Direct Inlet Probe System (DIP) is available for the new Agilent 7000 Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer (Triple Quad).

Hidden behind the new design you can find the well-proven technology with the heatable push rod that has been successfully applied with the DIP Systems for the Agilent 5973 and 5975 MSD for several years. The sample is inserted automatically via vacuum lock into the ion source of the mass spectrometer.

The Direct Inlet Probe in combination with the MS/MS technology of the 7000 Triple Quad enables fast analysis of even very complex samples providing high sensitivity and selectivity. Switching between DIP/MS and GC/MS measurements requires no modification or venting of the MSD except for software settings.

For fast screening methods, effectivity can be enhanced by connecting the DIP system with a special autosampler for liquid and/or solid samples.

  • Direct Inlet for low volatile and solid samples
  • Automatic insertion of the sample into the high vacuum of the ion source (EI/CI)
  • Comfortable operation of the system via DIP software (temperature programme for push rod heating) and Agilent Mass Hunter Software (spectral data processing)
  • DIP measurement without removal of the GC and GC/MS interface
  • Data acquisition and evaluation with all advantages of the MS/MS analysis (high speed MRM for complex samples, easy maintenance etc.)
  • Fast analysis method for Screenings
  • Complete solutions consisting of the DIP System together with the Agilent 7000 MS/MS and the appropriate software
  • upgradeable with CombiPal autosampler for automation and online analysis (of liquid and solid samples)
