Microtrac, one of the world's leading companies in particle characterisation, has made the next step regarding innovative technology: The Microtrac Sync, the newest analysis system for particle size and shape, combines the world’s leading laser diffraction technology with the leading dynamic image analysis on the same bench, synchronising size and shape measurement at a measurement range from 0.01 microns.
By integrating both methods, users get more detailed information about their material than ever before and their tried and true particle size distribution together with particle morphology. The Sync interrogates particles, wet or dry, with laser light while a high-speed digital camera takes images simultaneously. The data collected is processed by our easy to use and powerful FLEX software and presents the user with particle size and shape information with its intuitive GUI. The innovative LD / DIA 'blend' software feature produces accurate particle size distributions up to 4000 microns. Over 30 size & shape summary parameters are available for each measurement. Additionally, Microtrac's new system comes with an advanced, modern and space-saving design that allows for unsurpassed dispersion of wet and dry material.
