Start-to-finish quality-assurance

Combining high measurement quality with simple handling, Merck’s new Spectroquant® Pharo spectrophotometers offer a wide range of parameters for water analysis. The proven instrument-supported Analytical Quality Assurance system (AQA) is of particular benefit in ensuring GLP-compliant operations.

In addition, the bar code on each of the cells in the Spectroquant® cell test kits eliminates the possibility of mistakes. When you insert your cell into a Spectroquant® instrument, the correct method of analysis is automatically selected. Due to the consistently high quality of the Spectroquant® tests, it’s not even necessary to prepare a blank sample – the blank value has already been accounted for in the programming.

The AQA system built into the Spectroquant® instrument combines 3 essential parts of quality control to ensure the accuracy of your results. All target values and tolerances are preprogrammed in the instruments using CertiPur® certified standards and reference materials. This allows you to easily check not only the instrument, but also the entire system (instrument, test kits, pipette and operator). Besides testing the overall system, you can also identify any measurement errors due to possible interferences within the sample.
