The analytical analysis of the possibilities of ultrasound application, together with ultraviolet radiation or oxidizers, has been carried out. The mechanisms of the efficiency increase have been examined at decontamination of sewage with big suspended particles. The application of additional sonication of potable water is of no use. The possibilities of cleaning of quartz sleeves have been discussed.
