Latvian IOS was established on 2nd of January, 1957 to perform research in organic chemistry, molecular biology and bioorganic chemistry Latvian IOS is involved in different contract research projects with Latvian and foreign pharmaceutical companies Presently IOS has on-going projects with 11 pharmaceutical companies. Together with business partners 64 patents have been filed in the last 5 years
