Viscotek was founded 1983 when Max Haney developed the 4 capillary viscometer. Since then Viscotek became the leader in gel permeation chromatography. The comprehensive product range guarantees the appropriate GPC/SEC solution for any application, starting from synthetic polymers, biopolymers and polysaccharides up to proteins.
In 2005 Viscotek added an instrument for dynamic light scattering to the product range. This instrument is used in biochemistry mainly in the field of protein crystallography and in nano technology for the characterization of nano-particles.
The automated relative viscometer is designed to measure the viscosity of diluted polymer solutions. It replaces several glass capillary viscometers and minimizes the contact with the solvent.
