Celanese Announces Emulsions Price Increases in North America

08 Jan 2010 - Celanese Corporation announced that it will increase the price of all emulsions in North America effective Feb. 1, 2010, or as contracts allow.

 
Pure acrylic emulsions will increase by $0.05 per wet lb., and vinyl-based emulsions (including PVAc homopolymers, vinyl acrylic and vinyl acetate ethylene) will increase by $0.03 per wet lb. This increase affects emulsions sold into all application areas: adhesives, building products, paints and coatings, nonwovens, textiles, paper coatings, and glass fiber.
