"Best Innovation Contributor 2009:” Cognis receives supplier award from Henkel Laundry & Home Care

29 Jan 2010 - At this year’s Soap and Detergent Association (SDA) Annual Meeting and Industry Convention in Orlando, Florida, Cognis was awarded with a prize by Henkel Laundry & Home Care. The company received the "Best Innovation Contributor 2009” award for the best contribution of an external partner delivering outstanding consumer-relevant innovation.
 
Cognis and Henkel developed a special additive providing improved drying properties, particularly for plastic parts, in automatic dish detergents. Thomas Müller-Kirschbaum, Corporate Senior Vice President for R&D, Technology and Supply Chain within Henkel’s Laundry & Home Care business sector sees the result of the cooperation as a positive example: "This innovative chemistry contributes to assuring Henkel’s leading position in premium automatic dish washing detergents, now and in the future.”
