Green Dolphin Announces Joint Venture With Kola Chemicals to Manufacture, Market its Products in the Chinese Market

15 Aug 2003 - Green Dolphin Systems Corporation, which produces and markets a line of environmentally friendly specialty chemical products for both residential and industrial users, today announced that it will execute a joint venture agreement next month with China-based Kola Chemicals to manufacture and market its cleaning products in the Chinese market.

Kola Chemicals has shown great interest in Green Dolphin's sanitary and disinfectant products such as Vima Sel, Vima Quat, Biocide and several other environmentally friendly degreasers. The agreement comes after six months of continuing discussions between Green Dolphin and Kola Chemicals. William Ye, of Green Dolphin/Eucalip Bio Chemicals of Australia, headed the discussions on behalf of Green Dolphin.

In late September, Ye and Green Dolphin Vice President Maxwell Labrooy will meet in China with the senior management of Kola Chemicals to consummate the agreement and review that company's marketing plans. Both Green Dolphin executives consider the Kola connection to be the key to effectively penetrating not only the Chinese market, but also the Pacific Rim countries as well.
