Eckert & Ziegler To Receive the Accreditation of its03 Sep 2003 -
Isotope Products Laboratories Inc. (IPL), a US subsidiary of the Berlin based Eckert & Ziegler AG, received the accreditation of its calibration laboratory by the Deutscher Kalibrierdienst (DKD).
The prestigious certification, awarded by the Braunschweig based national main authority, recognizes the high precision and quality of the production processes and opens additional markets for the specialist of industrial and medical sources. "The market for radioactive standards has a volume of only several million EUR but the international recognized certification also has a positive impact on other areas", explains Andreas Eckert, Chief Executive Officer of the Eckert & Ziegler AG. "Physicists and patients who use our sources for the treatment of prostate cancer can be sure of a very high standard of our production." Radioactive components of Eckert & Ziegler AG are utilized across industries within industrial measurement technology, nuclear imaging and the sciences.
