Borealis expands distribution agreement with Ashland for Iberia

23 Mar 2004 - Borealis announced that it has extended its current distribution agreement with Ashland Distribution Company to include polypropylene for small and medium sized automotive and household appliance customers in Spain and Portugal.
 
According to Walter Baumann, Vice President of Borealis' Business Unit Engineering Applications: "The rapid expansion and global growth of customers in the automotive and household appliance industry emphasises the need to focus Borealis' sales force on market development projects to optimise support for Original Equipment Manufacturers and system suppliers. Customer tailored engineering polypropylene products have been the key success factor in Borealis' strong acceptance in many markets".
 
Ashland and Borealis established their distribution partnership in1997 when Ashland began to provide local sales and service of Borealis polyethylene and polypropylene to small and medium sized plastic processors.
