Ultrasonic Scientific's 2003 sales figures show 100% increase on 2002

21 May 2004 - Ultrasonic Scientific Ltd.has announced a landmark year in 2003 with sales reaching record levels - 100% increase on 2002 sales figures. This increase was accredited to significant penetration of existing markets and the opening-up of new, key markets through increased distribution channels. The latest distributors to be appointed by Ultrasonic Scientific are Italian company, FKV and S.T Japan, Inc.

 
Sales were greatest with the HR-US102 "P" series. The versatile "P" unit, which has an external module interface, allowing the user to operate the HR-US 102 P with a standard liquid cell, a cell for semi-solids and a cell for flow measurements. In 2004 Ultrasonic Scientific is adding the titration accessory and low volume cell to this range.
 
Managing Director of Ultrasonic Scientific Ltd., Breda O'Driscoll, comments on the sales results, "We are enjoying a growing customer base, penetration of new markets, an expanding workforce to cope with demand, new product developments and a continued, high level of innovation within the Company. We have reached a very exciting time and are thrilled with the continued impact High-Resolution Ultrasonic Spectroscopy is making worldwide."
 
O'Driscoll continues, "According to most economic indicators 2003 was a difficult year, however our record sales which exceeded expectations during this downturn, is an indication of our commitment to securing Ultrasonic Scientific's position as the world's leading provider of ultrasonic spectrometers."
 
Ultrasonic Scientific is enjoying continued sales growth in 2004 and is aiming to further increase sales by encouraging an even closer relationship between applications personnel and customers. This will allow Ultrasonic to further understand customers and respond to their needs more effectively.
