Brenntag acquires US distributor Quadra Chemicals, Inc.

04 Nov 2005 - Effective October 31, 2005, Brenntag, global leader in the growth market for the distribution of chemicals, has aquired 100% of the outstanding shares of Quadra Chemicals Inc., distributor of industrial and specialty chemicals in the USA. The company was founded in 1991 and grew significantly as a national distributor with 90 million US$ in annual sales. The Canadian business, Quadra Chemicals Ltd. is not part of the transaction.

Quadra Chemicals, Inc. operates mainly in the Pacific region but also has business in Alaska and throughout the rest of the U.S.
