Walter L. Bullock appointed Velsicol Vice President, Chemical Specialties

Walter L. Bullock joined Velsicol Chemical Corporation as Vice President, Chemical Specialties. Bullock has an extensive background in sales and leadership in the chemical industry with a career that spans more than 30 years at FMC, Cytec and Bayer. His previous experience includes serving as vice president and general manager of the Bayer Corporation's paper colorants and chemicals business, where he was responsible for its large paper chemicals business in North America. He also served as director of global marketing and managing director of paper chemicals in Europe for Cytec Industries, where he directed the marketing strategy and development of the North American and European paper chemicals business unit. Prior to working for Cytec Industries, Bullock served in a variety of sales, marketing and management positions for FMC.
Bullock holds an executive M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business' Executive Program, Palo Alto, Calif., and earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. He is a member of the American Management Association, the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the Drug Chemical and Allied Trade Association and the Society of Quality Assurance. He has also been a guest lecturer at the Amos C. Tuck Graduate School of Business at Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire.
