QuestAir to supply hydrogen purification technology to Synthetic Fuels Plant

22 Aug 2006 - QuestAir Technologies Inc. announced that one of its H-3200 hydrogen purifiers will be included in a synthetic fuels plant located near Denver, Colorado. The plant, or Product Development Unit ("PDU"), is currently being constructed by Rentech, Inc., a developer of technologies and projects that transform under-utilized energy resources into clean alternative transportation fuels. The PDU will provide finished product to end users for testing purposes as well as being a training facility for Rentech's patented and proprietary process. The plant will produce approximately 10 barrels per day of ultra-clean transportation fuels from coal.

Jonathan Wilkinson, President and CEO of QuestAir said that QuestAir's H-3200 pressure swing adsorption ("PSA") system will purify hydrogen for use in the upgrading of liquid fuels in the coal-to-liquids plant.
