ALTANA Coatings & Sealants: Price increase for solvent based coatings30 Aug 2006 -
Rhenania Coatings and Rhenacoat both companies of ALTANA Chemie, will increase their prices for solvent based coatings by 5% to 7% as of October 1st. 2006.
This markup mainly reflects increases in raw material and energy costs. But also due to major cost increase on transport and general cost of business, we are forced to increase our selling prices," says Gerd Judith, General Manager of Rhenania Coatings and Business Line Manager.
